Baby Barns are designed and built for safe, dry storage by a New Zealand owned and operated company manufacturing in NZ.
It is important when buying a barn to select one which suits your storage needs, rather than buying the cheapest one advertised.
To help you choose the right barn, please call us to discuss your requirements. Below are some guidelines to help your decision:
1 ) Measure the width and depth of the area you are thinking of postioning the barn. The maximum size most councils allow without a permit is 10 sq meters, though each council is different, and you should check with your local authority first.
2) Work out what you are going to store in your barn and how to maximise your storage (e.g. do you need shelves or a window?).
3) How wide do you need the door opening to be, for bikes, a ride-on mower etc.
4) Do you need skylights or louvre windows for more light and ventilation?
5) Are you in a windy area or have a prevailing rain direction?
